Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Wernau (Neckar) Are you ready to redesign the data landscape as our next data architect or our next data architect and to create a future-proof infrastructure? With us, you harmonize complex SAP systems with modern databricks platforms and thus lay the foundation for a reliable data base that drives our company. You develop and implement future-proof data architectures, in particular for SAP systems and the Databricks platform. The integration and harmonisation of SAP data into modern data storage and data warehouse environments will help you significantly. In close cooperation with departments, IT teams and product owners, you define data requirements and establish binding standards. You continuously analyze, model and optimize data flows as well as data processes to increase efficiency and quality. In addition, you are fully responsible for the scalability, security and performance of our data infrastructure. In addition, identify and implement best practices in data engineering and data architecture to continuously develop our standards. Last but not least, you provide valuable support in the selection and introduction of new technologies in the SAP and Big Data environment.

Education: completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, data science or comparable Experience and know-how: multi-year professional experience as a data architect:in, ideally focusing on SAP and Databricks well-founded knowledge of SAP data models (e.g. SAP BW, S/4HANA) and experience in data integration Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark Knowledge of Python, SQL and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS) Understanding Modern Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh and Data Governance
