Pedagogical Specialist (gn*) Project limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension | In full time with 38.5 hours | Remuneration according to TV-L | at the next possible time | Clinic for Children and Youth Medicine – Paediatric Haematology and Oncology | We're the UKM. The activity is part of the care provided by the multidisciplinary team of the Psychosocial Service (PSD), which consists of employees of the disciplines of psychology, social work/edagogy, art and music therapy, pedagogy and sports science. Place of activity is the child-oncological ambulance/day clinic.

Educational support and support for children and young people with oncological and haematological diseases Planning and implementation of supportive individual and group activities, distraction from hospital everyday Establishment of parental allowances Promoting age-appropriate development during the disease Advice on questions of education and development Participation in team meetings and case conferences Documentation of patient-related activities Instructions by educators in the professionally practical year of recognition (BPJ) a modern design of the department as well as organization and execution of actions and festivals Administration of employment material (purchase/procurement, order, disinfection)

Completion as a state-approved educator*in or comparable qualification Ideally, already professional experience Possible pre-experiences in the clinical setting or in the handling of children/young people in a special life situation Motivation to meet children and adolescents in a challenging life situation Competence with children and young people of all ages as well as their parents and siblings Good sensitivity to the mental and physical sensitivities of patients willingness to design situation- and development-oriented activities. Responsible and independent working Good delimitation in view of some serious illnesses Car guide note desirable (material purchase)
