Trade Compliance Manager (m/w/d)

As a Trade Compliance Manager (m/w/d), our customer company of the maritime defence industry at Wedel is responsible for the legal handling of all import and export operations.

You analyze and control complex customs processes, check international supply chains and advise internal interfaces on all external economic issues.

With your well-founded expertise in customs and foreign trade law, make sure that all international trade activities take place efficiently, transparently and in a regular manner.

Analysis of import operations and independent import customs processing using various procedures (active and passive refinement, free circulation etc.) Analysis of export operations and independent export duty processing taking into account different procedures (end-of-order export, temporary export, re-export etc.) Creation and verification of proof of preferences for customs savings for customers in third countries Advising internal fields of import and export operations Disposition of cargo hold for land, air and sea transport from economic considerations Creation and verification of customs and transit documents (e.g. export accompanying document, declaration of dangerous goods, dispatch ad, CMR shipping letter, Carnet ATA, accreditation conditions etc.) Processing of EU goods and exits for reporting to the Federal Statistical Office

Successfully completed studies of law, economics, business informatics, economic law or a comparable qualification

• as an alternative to completed vocational training with detectable, relevant professional experience Multiannual professional experience in logistics and customs (at least three years of practical experience in customs declaration) Funded knowledge in the Union Customs Code (UZK) and in the handling of VS contracts and KrWaffKontrG contracts Good knowledge of customs and foreign trade law as well as in shipping and hazardous goods regulations for all modes of transport IATA travel material training (air transport) desirable Secure handling of SAP and MS Office Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High level of autonomy, analytical ability and sense of responsibility Representative communication and consulting skills
