The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office Rhein-Ruhr-Wupper (CVUA-RRW) is looking for an indefinite period at the Krefeld site and a full-time Projektmanager (m/w/d) (deleting group 5 TVöD) The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office Rhein-Ruhr-Wupper (CVUA-RRW) is an official examination laboratory in the field of consumer health as an institution of public law. Your application is carried out within the animal health division in the field of “Pathology/Parasitology”. Sections of domestic, utility, wild and zoo animals, including the assessment of histological preparations for the detection of animal diseases, zoonoses and other animal diseases, are carried out in the field. In addition, the assessment of animal-protection-relevant facts and parasitological diagnosis also belongs to the tasks of the subject area.

The work in the section hall includes: Consumption of materials (usually carcases, also large animals) for the sections Preparation of animal bodies to the section Implementation and processing of sections (after incorporation) including harvesting of organs, dismantling of animals and sampling on the decomposed animal Cleaning and disinfection work in the section area Other activities: Preparation of the parasitological examination of samples using flotation, sedimentation and the funnel emigration method Investigation of Trichines and the Duncker`s Muscle Gel Management of samples and analyses

successfully completed vocational training for the carpenter or a comparable qualification with basic anatomical knowledge of animals (e.g. laboratory assistant or biology laboratory assistant) or due to other experiences by e.g. house slaughtering, animal nurse, hunter or farming German knowledge fluent in word and writing Remarkable are: Professional experience in this area Experience in the application of a laboratory information and management system Experience in handling the PC and the current MS Office products Knowledge of existing hygiene and quality management regulations (DIN EN ISO/IEC17025) In addition, the following competencies are expected: good basic physical condition (short-term lifting of heavy loads, working with respiratory masks) Flexibility, readiness and loadability Willingness to provide overtime or service outside the usual working hours structured and targeted mode of operation readiness to kill animals in the event of animal disease (after a certificate of expertise) Embossed hygiene awareness Ready for vaccination for reasons of occupational safety, for example rabies, hepatitis A and B, influenza A virus, if this vaccination protection has not yet been present
