We are looking for several new specialist optics production (m/w/x) in Wetzlar at this time (limited to 1 year)

In our optics production at both locations in Wetzlar we grind and polish in several steps in 5 teams of approximately 140 employees. In your role as a specialist in optics production, you are responsible for the timely delivery of our optics in the required quality and quantity.

Your role You carry out machine grinding and turning operations according to specifications and operate CNC or conventional machines safely

test the manufactured components using machine and manual tactile measurements and evaluate the results according to specified criteria

Read and understand technical drawings and work instructions and implement them in your daily work

You can reliably record production and quality data in Office 365 as well as in systems such as MES and SAP and create necessary quality reports

in handling sensitive components, you work carefully and handcrafted and thus contribute significantly to product quality

Maintenance and cleaning work on the machines assigned to you will carry out and report malfunctions to the competent authorities

You have completed technical training, such as fine optics, industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, mechatronics (m/w/x) or in a comparable profession.

a pronounced technical and logical understanding will distinguish you and you will enjoy understanding the functional principle of machines

in handling sensitive components show craftsmanship, work very carefully and quality conscious

the safe handling of the PC and applications such as Office 365 is familiar to you; ideally, you already have first contact points with systems such as MES or SAP

Reliability, sense of responsibility and team skills shape your work and you are ready to learn new content

You are ready for work in the three-shift system and have fluent knowledge of German in word and writing; English knowledge is advantageous, but no requirement
