Your area: Hosting platforms: MS SQL/MongoDB The “Hosting Platforms” service bundle provides IT solutions for the operation of web servers, databases and application servers that are used by a variety of software products from the local administration. We ensure the safe and performant operation of several hundred servers, making an important contribution to the functioning of the state administration.

Your main activity: You contribute to the smooth production of our MongoDB and MS SQL servers on Linux or Windows on. You actively participate in the ITIL processes “Incident Management”, “Request Fulfillment”, “Problem Management” and “Change Management”. You ensure compliance with the safety concepts, even in highly secure environments. You advise internal areas. Here you collect requirements and transfer new database instances to the company. Your task also includes: You document procedures, processes, changes and other operational information. You develop processes and concepts of the company.

You bring with them: Graduate degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or in another degree course with IT reference As an alternative to studies: Completion as an operating professional or many years of relevant professional experience in IT Basic knowledge in the administration of databases on Linux and/or Windows First experiences with Mongo DB or MS SQL. A lack of knowledge in one of the two database systems/OS can be acquired in a professional context. Secure German (in Word and Writing) Secure understanding of English-speaking, technical documentation It is also desirable: Knowledge of ITIL processes Your personality: Team spirit, open to dealing with changes Service and customer orientation Readiness to learn Additional job information If you have at least six months of relevant professional experience, the complete activity is transferred to the specific workplace and thus a grouping into the pay group 11 TV-L. In all other cases, you will be hired for the first half year in the 10 TV-L payment group.
