by consulting and strategically developing suppliers to ensure long-term supply and competitiveness by conducting and controlling annual talks, supplier visits and negotiations to optimize purchasing conditions and supplier relationships by proactively tracking purchase data in SAP as well as delivery dates and material flows by responsible for the implementation and control of (technical) projects in purchasing, from planning to successful implementation, while maintaining cost, time and quality objectives by continuously optimizing the processes in purchasing and in cooperation with suppliers and by initiating and implementing improvement measures to increase efficiency and reduce risks by identifying and driving proactive innovations in purchasing and supply chain to keep the company competitive and use new market opportunities analyse and evaluate risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to minimize them

a completed technical or commercial study or a comparable qualification multiannual professional experience in purchasing, preferably with experience in a producing company good technical understanding and ability to understand technical drawings well-founded SAP knowledge and experience in handling MS Office strong communication and negotiation strength, strategic thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of how to deal with drawing permissions (up to EUR 100,000 as part of the 4-eye principle) and compliance with corporate policies and compliance requirements the ability to work closely with internal departments such as demand planning, distribution and production to ensure optimal supply of materials and a smooth supply chain, as well as to coordinate with team leaders in strategic decisions and major purchasing projects
