Optimize this strategic, unlimited full-time position You ensure production processes, provide high-quality seed supply for national and international customers and lead to the development of the German Cross-Crops production area.

You can look forward to this: Management and further development of teams in seed production (including test seed), production consulting, quality laboratory and logistics Control of production activities and performance by means of relevant indicators (industrial indicators, financial results, production cost ratio, defined personal targets) Promoting the professional and personal development of your direct reports and team members Responsibility for budget and medium-term planning (investments, personnel, cost centers, production costs) Responsibility for multiplication and production planning including negotiation and coordination with external partners Central interface function to the KWS sales organization, to international production networks and to the Crop Leads Design of the future of the production department by further developing structures, equipment and cultural portfolios Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and further development of internal KWS standards and guidelines Management and participation in strategic projects and cross-departmental initiatives Presentation of KWS and active participation in seed associations and industry networks

Completed study of agricultural sciences, economics or a comparable degree programme Multiannual relevant professional experience in industry, ideally in the seed sector or seed production Detectable experience in managing executives and managing complex organisational structures Very good German knowledge of word and writing as well as good English knowledge Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA Impressed leadership with enforcement ability and ability to effectively manage change processes Entrepreneurial thinking with high self-responsibility and openness for the organisational-wide exchange of ideas Proven leadership skills that unite reliability, empathy and the ability to lead teams through change and complexity High flexibility and strong team capacity with open mindset as well as strong cross-disciplinary and stakeholder-oriented cooperation Willingness to participate actively in industry networks and seed associations
