You work on state-of-the-art processor architectures, gather important practical experiences and build a valuable network for the future at the same time! Whether you’re making developers more productive during their daily work, investigating Agentic AI for project management or working to transfer large simulation environments to the cloud – Your activity combines sophisticated technology with direct project practice.

As a Master@IBM in the area of Hardware Verification (m/w/d), you work on state-of-the-art processor architectures and support the team in developing and verifying IBM hardware reliably.

You work together with your team in the Hardware Labs, where you (depending on the focus) optimise development environments, develop AI-based tools for project management prototypically or work to transfer large simulation environments to the cloud.

Using your work, you can show how new technical solutions improve development processes, make simulations more efficient or simplify complex processes in projects.

In parallel, you will acquire the necessary expertise in your studies to become a real expert in hardware engineering, software tools, AI-based assistance systems or cloud architectures.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc. with a grade average of at least. 2.5.

Level B2 (according to GER) according to the language classification of the University of Applied Sciences Reutlingen.

German level C1 (according to GER) according to the language set of the University of Applied Sciences Reutlingen.

You bring a passion for hardware development and technical innovation and have ideally already gained initial experience in programming.

You already have first experiences with development tools such as Git and programming languages such as C++ or Python.

You have pronounced analytical skills and a high technical understanding, especially for complex systems and technical processes.

Your very good communication and team skills are yours.

You are proactive and have a structured way of working.

In study: 4 semesters including Master thesis
