Geo- und Netzinformationen | IT-Solutions Technik | IT-Querschnittfunktions | SWM Services GmbH The IT Solutions Technology, Geo and Network Information Department is responsible for providing and operating geo and network information systems (GIS/NIS) and applications. Several product and service teams integrate and operate both standard products (GE Smallworld) and self-developments based on Open Source (QGIS). The entire life cycle of applications including the third level user support is accompanied. A service expert*in NIS/GIS with the focus on integration and DevOps (further development and operation) is being sought to strengthen the service team. The network information system (NIS) is the central SWM GIS system for the collection, planning and documentation of the SWM supply networks. As such, the system not only uses numerous interfaces, but also provides different (e.g. file and database-based, REST, GraphQL, OGC standard) interfaces via which space-related NIS data can be exported and further processed.

Care of NIS systems on an on-premises (on-prem) Kubernetes cluster as well as care and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines Transformation and display of space-related data, for example from official sources Connection, maintenance and further development of interfaces to resystems Technical advice of the department in the preparation of requirements Participation in questions of technological orientation and further development of our NIS systems and participation in IT working groups

Completed (specialized) university studies in computer science and Geoinformatics or a comparable qualification Knowledge and experience in one or more programming languages Java, Python or Magik Very good knowledge of system and software architecture Very good knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps: Github Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Kustomize, FluxCD Postgres/PostGIS, ETL (e.g. GeoPandas) and the processing of geodata
