We, the DLR project promoter, complement the scientific orientation of DLR. The enrolled body shall be occupied in the ICT projects and operation of the competence centres and services division. In the ICT projects and operations department, we provide the necessary ICT infrastructure and continuously support the conveying processes with digital processes and products. Our focus is always on our contractors, applicants and grant recipients and is characterized by service orientation and cost-effectiveness. As an application manager (w/m/d), you support our team in first and second level support, where you process service requests and incidents. In doing so, you will advance us in the further development and optimization of our service processes. Your tasks Restoring the normal and agreed service operation within the agreed time after the occurrence of an incident and processing of service requests from internal and external users Examination of the causes of (recurring) disturbances to prevent the recurrence of disturbances or to ensure that workarounds/ temporary bypass solutions are available Support and advice of employees in the field of database-based applications Documentation, implementation, care and support in the further development of existing and new IT systems & diverse customer-specific innovative software solutions First and second level support (telephone and email)

completed vocational training e.g. on/to the technical informant/in application development or another vocational training relevant to the activity with computer science reference Knowledge of an IT service management framework (e.g. ITIL) and service request management practical experience with a ticket system for processing customer requests good user knowledge of HTML, CSS, client /server and web applications and basic knowledge and experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL etc.) professional, customer-oriented communication The grouping takes place depending on the qualification and task transfer up to 9a TVöD.
