This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is responsible for the power supply of more than 18 million people and makes a significant contribution to the energy transition. The secondary technology I supervise protects, controls and monitors systems of energy transmission and supply from low to high voltage. The plants in my area of application between Brunsbüttel in the west and Schwerin in the east are predominantly designed as open air systems, but also include gas-insulated switching systems to a lesser extent. The workflows are predominantly standardized and are made according to internal and external regulations and specifications. Here I deal with constant innovations and participate in the standardization of workflows. With my team, I carry out maintenance measures and complex functional testing in secondary technology as well as in the associated facilities – before and after the commissioning of corresponding plant parts. My tasks: expert management of test groups and independent implementation of tests on individual components, protection tests and functional samples in the protection and control technology; Participation in factory testing (FAT) as part of new construction and maintenance projects, parameterization, testing and commissioning of components of protection and control technology, analysis and elimination of malfunctions in protection, control and control systems, ensuring quality assurance and coordination of project and maintenance-related measures; the establishment and safeguarding of workstations as well as the assignment and coordination of foreign firms on site, Participation in the stand-by service and support of management in the troubleshooting of secondary equipment; Maintenance and updating of the technical plant documentation in SAP.
