Steag Power ensures security of supply in Germany – today and in the transition to a climate-neutral energy future. The company operates coal-fired power plants at six locations and thus covers approximately five percent of the nationwide electricity demand. Six of seven power plant blocks are considered system-relevant – You make an important contribution to network stability. Be part of our dynamic and motivated team and work together to secure the energy supply and to solutions for the energy transition and decarbonization at the STEAG Iqony Group sites. You take the exciting task of leading the development of projects independently and leading them to the investment decision. This includes the development of large-scale battery storage facilities, the conversion of existing power plants, the new construction of H2-ready gas power plants, data centres, hydrogen generating plants and other infrastructure projects. More of your tasks are: Leadership of multidisciplinary and cross-company teams Initiation, negotiation and management of partner processes for infrastructure projects Budget and appointment responsibility Development and assessment of new business, project and partner models Participation and assessment of economic accounts and financing models Market assessment and derivation of the impact on the business model Compilation of contracts of projects Negotiations with customers, partners, suppliers, banks and network operators Responsible for project-related reporting and internal clearance procedures

Your academic education (e.g. in the field of engineering sciences or financial/economy) and your professional experience in the field of energy management or consulting with the focus on M&A, allows you to start with an on-the-job training. You have the pleasure of contributing quickly to the success of the company, being market-oriented and interested in regularly working on new topics, technologies and markets.
