Electrical Engineer as Project Manager Infrastructure Projects

In your role as project manager: you are part of DB Energie GmbH, the energy supply company of Deutsche Bahn and the technical project management team for investment projects of approximately 14 people. With its development and provision of energy infrastructure, DB Energie GmbH makes a central contribution to the energy transition of Deutsche Bahn. The main task of the project management team is to renew and expand the electrical supply structure for the entire group. At the next time we are looking for you as an electrical engineer:in as project manager:in infrastructure projects (w/m/d) for DB Energie GmbH at the Leipzig site. To be perfectly prepared for your new tasks, you will be “tracked” with us in an onboarding program tailor-made for you. These include basic and specialist training, training plan and smaller task packages that are specifically adapted to your work. We also provide you with personal care through sponsors and mentors. Your tasks:

Your heart beats for demanding technology projects: As project manager:you control several complex projects around 16.7 Hz railway power plants, guide them to success structuredly and actively shape the energy infrastructure of the railway of tomorrow In everyday work you are in the middle of the project business: you are the central link in our projects – from the first stages of planning to the final handover to the customer In the case of public approval procedures (e.g. EBA, spatial planning, planning) you are responsible Project management tools such as structure and scheduling, risk analysis and reporting are targeted and secure You will document the progress of your projects without any gaps and submit the relevant data in the systems used

Your profile:

A completed study in the field of electrical engineering, industrial engineering with focus on electrical engineering You have already gained first professional experience in the project business of infrastructure projects for energy supply With tools like SAP and MS Office you have first professional experience and ideally you have first knowledge of BIM methodology Your work is structured, solution-oriented and efficient – even with complex technical challenges You like to work independently, think analytically and keep an overview even in complex situations Communication strength, team spirit and desire for large infrastructure projects complete your profile
