FPGA & Embedded Firmware Developers (m/f/d)

Development, development and maintenance of FPGA designs in VHDL for embedded, real-time measuring and testing systems Development and adaptation of hardware-related embedded firmware in C/C++ to configure, control and parameterize the FPGA functions Design, implementation and simulation of digital signal processing and FPGA architectures for deterministic processing of measurement data Implementation of synchronized FPGA logic, state machines and tact-deterministic processing structures Implementation of timing analyses and definition and care of constraints Analysis, optimization and further development of existing FPGA and firmware architectures Integration and connection of different hardware interfaces, e.g. sensor technology, actuators, measurement Implementation of communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART and Ethernet commissioning, debugging and validation on real hardware Technical analysis and correction of complex fault images in existing systems Participation in the design of FPGA-close hardware architectures and clock concepts Participation in technical documentation and structured test procedures

Studies in electrical engineering, computer science, embedded systems or comparable degree Very good knowledge of VHDL Experience with FPGA toolchains (preferably Intel or Lattice) Experience in Timing Analysis, Constraint Management and Digital Circuit Development Experience in embedded C/C++ and microcontroller architectures Knowledge of FPGA-based signal processing (e.g. filter, trigger logic, FFT) of advantage Understanding FPGA-close hardware architectures as well as ability to read and evaluate schematics Experience in measuring technology or non-destructive testing (ZfP) of advantage Structured, analytical and quality-oriented operation Team skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
