Advice and support: Psychosocial counselling and support for adult clients with addiction (alcohol, drugs, medicines) as part of integration aid. This also includes the advice of relatives and important references in dealing with addiction. Motivational work: support for clients in explaining their motivation and promoting their willingness to change – towards a life that is free of search and to use further aid. Everyday management: Help in structuring everyday life and developing a daily and weekly structure in abstinence. Promoting the everyday skills and resources of clients through life-structural guidance, e.g. in managing households, dealing with money or social contacts. Group Offers & Leisure: Planning and implementation of group activities (e.g. rounds of talks, joint cooking, leisure activities) to promote social participation and a community coexistence. Crisis intervention: Constructive handling of relapses and crisis intervention in acute crisis situations of residents. You develop strategies for relapse prevention together and accompany the client inside through difficult phases. Documentation & Help Planning: Documentation of Care Processes and Creation of Help Plans and Reports for Cost and Performance Carriers. You keep an overview of the progress and development goals of each supervised person. Network work: Active cooperation in the help network – You cooperate closely with search counselling agencies, therapists, doctors, authorities, legal supervisors inside and cost-beneficiaries. Regular coordination and networking ensure that our clients receive the best possible support.

Qualification: completed studies of social work or Social education with state recognition or comparable pedagogical/psychosocial qualification (e.g. psychology). Complete training as educators, nurses. Experience: professional experience in addiction or psychosocial counseling is desirable. Ideally, you have already worked in institutions of addiction assistance, integration aid or psychiatry and know the special challenges of these fields of activity. Expertise: Good knowledge of the relevant social legislation (BTHG, SGB IX, SGB XII) and the aid plan procedures are advantageous. You are familiar with concepts of integration aid and ideally have experience in documentation and reporting. Social competence: Impressed empathy and patience in dealing with people with addiction and high social and intercultural competence. You meet our clients without prejudice and at eye level. We also require communication and team skills – you like to work in a multi-professional team. Personality: resilience, frustration tolerance and self-initiative – even in challenging situations, keep a cool head and act organized and solution-oriented. A structured, independent way of working and a sense of responsibility. Readiness for learning: willingness to continue and further education is of course for you. You regularly reflect your work (e.g. in Supervision) and want to develop professionally. Digital & Organisational: Sovereign handling of the common computer applications (Office, documentation software) is assumed. You can create reports reliably on your PC and feel safe in the digital file management. Organisational skills, e.g. in scheduling or file management, complete your profile. Extra Qualifications: Additional qualifications such as search advice, systemic advice or therapeutic training (motivating discussion, social therapy etc.) are a plus. These help you to support our clients even more targeted. Language and cultural competence: foreign language knowledge and intercultural experience are of advantage – we advise and serve people from diverse cultures in over 40 languages.
