In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars development, we shape the automotive generations of the future. Our Team Vehicle and Fleet Testing AD is located within the Center for Automated Driving and Active Security. Here we are responsible for the project-wide vehicle planning, ordering and type management of the test vehicles in the field of development of driver assistance systems. Furthermore, we control the test carriers and carry out the development-accompanying testing of ADAS functions both on the test site and on the road. From planning to implementation to analysis of the measurement data, we accompany the entire testing process. As an intern*in, you are actively involved in the processes and tasks that are crucial for ensuring the testability of the vehicles and the development of driver assistance systems. You will gain practical experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

In detail, the following activities await you: Support for vehicle management and type management: management and maintenance of vehicle databases Coordination of vehicle transfers and provision Implementation of vehicle inspections and documentation of results Workshop control and promotion of test vehicles Operational support and support of the ADAS type management

Administrative tasks: Process design and optimization Creation and maintenance of reports and documentation Support in planning and organizing meetings and events Communication with internal and external partners

The internship can start from September 2025.

Continuous studies in automotive / electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or related fields Safe handling of MS Office, experience with databases of advantage Good knowledge of German and English Good organizational skills, detail accuracy and communication strength Interest in the automotive industry and enthusiasm for vehicles Creative problem solving skills and innovation spirit Willingness to learn new things and get involved in complex topics Fun at work in and on vehicles Driving licence class B mandatory Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
