Public Relations Officer (m/w/d) with a focus on radioactive waste

The Bundesgesellschaft für Endlager (BGE) is looking for a site for a high-radioactive waste end storage facility and is building the Konrad end storage facility for low- and medium-radioactive waste. The BGE keeps the Morsleben end camp open until shutdown and plans to recover the radioactive waste from the Asse shaft plant. The BGE is a federal company in the department of the Federal Environment Ministry.

You coordinate the communication of BGE internally and externally on the subject of radioactive waste, focusing on low- and medium-radioactive waste, internally and externally You create concepts for knowledge transfer in the fields of radioactive waste and radiation protection for different target groups, including in the context of the establishment and commissioning of the Konrad end camp, the retrieval of radioactive waste from the Asse II shaft plant, the decommissioning of the Morsleben end camp, product control and the search for a further end storage site for low- and medium-radioactive waste You develop and hold (special) lectures and presentations on the topics mentioned, develop information materials in the field of print, audiovisual media and online communication and represent the BGE in the information centres and throughout Germany, during events - also in the evening and at weekends The development of tender documents and coordination of service providers is one of your activities as well as the support of your manager in administrative tasks You support your team with the support of visitor groups

You have a successfully completed university or university degree, ideally in the fields of journalism, communication sciences or comparable You have ideally completed a volunteer You bring professional experience in the field of science mediation or journalism Further professional experience in the field of radiation protection or radioactive waste is also desirable You have knowledge in the field of didactics or adult education, secure knowledge of MS Office standard programs Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is desirable, as well as knowledge of radiation protection and radioactive waste A Class B driving licence completes your profile You are convinced
