Senior SAP Consultant Defense & Security (m/f/d)

Designing SAP Defense Solutions: The development and implementation of highly specialized SAP solutions based on SAP Defense Forces & Public Security (S/4HANA Defense & Security) for the Bundeswehr, armaments companies and security authorities are among your tasks. Drive S/4HANA Transformation: You accompany complex migration projects from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA in safety-critical environments and ensure smooth transitions without interruptions in operation. Optimize logistics systems: SAP-based solutions for military logistics, material management and maintenance processes are always designed with a focus on availability and traceability. Compliance & Security: You ensure compliance with strict security policies, export control regulations and VS compliance in implementing SAP systems. Stakeholder Management: Direct cooperation with decision-makers from Bundeswehr, Ministry of Defence and leading defense companies is your responsibility. Technical leadership: You work closely with the project management and technical development and work together to develop solutions in the time and budget framework as well as in high quality.

SAP expertise in the defense environment: Multiannual experience with SAP ERP/S/4HANA – ideally including SAP Defense & Security as well as logistics modules (MM, WM, PM, EWM) – you have already demonstrated in security-critical implementations. Defense-Background: Professional experience in the defense industry, in the Bundeswehr, in arms companies or defense-focused consulting companies is available. Security clearance: You bring the readiness to the security check to SÜG or an existing clearance (ideally to VS-VERTRAULICH). Technical Depth & Project Methods: Development capabilities are beneficial and enable you to implement concepts on hands; In addition, you use experience with classic and agile project methods in regulated environments as well as knowledge in requirements engineering according to IREB. Industry knowledge: A well-founded understanding of military procurement processes, NATO standards, the War Weapons Control Act and the specific challenges of the defence industry is your profile. Communication talent: You can communicate safely in German and English, internally and externally.
