You will then support us as an architect for automation in special machine & plant engineering (m/w/x) in the area of Digital Processes & Solutions in the development of diverse software and automation solutions for the operating and measuring equipment of our production at our location in Aachen.

Creation of overall architectures (reference architectures) as well as designing and developing complex hardware and software for complex systems and machines

perform requirements analysis (requirement engineering) for machines and systems with customers and suppliers

the software and e-hardware architecture with the fields of mechanical design, measurement technology and the responsible project manager

Promote internal guidelines and technical requirements for automation and support implementation in the projects

Specify standards for software, program modules, security concept, HMI etc.

coordinate and advise external development partners and internal project colleagues

Experience in requirement management and associated tool knowledge (polarion or enterprise architect) and documented creation of system designs for automation

deep knowledge of the automation of machines in mechanics, electrical engineering and software, e.g. Siemens-SPS, drive technology, safety technology, control technology, data management and MES

knowledge of measurement technology and machine regulation (EU)2023/1230

Experiences in the commissioning of machine controls, measurement systems, drive technology (Sinumerik and Simatic) for equipment
