In your role as 'Application Engineer & Sales Supporter', you are the key contact person (m/w/d) for international customers and the Voith External Service when it comes to technical solution finding and sales business development for control and control technology of steam turbines, gas turbines and compressors.

You will advise our customers using suitable presentation means to acquire orders. The proactive support of customers and worldwide sales colleagues from the early acquisition phase to including the procurement negotiations is one of your core tasks. A close cooperation with the worldwide sales colleagues and AGT internal specialist departments is of course for you to ensure sustainable growth. Customer specifications match and release them. You are responsible for finding new applications for our products and services (taking into account customer requirements). In addition, check and evaluate competitive products and develop upgrade proposals for overhauled competitive solutions. You recognise and assess risks and ensure our quality of prices and results.

You have a completed technical study (engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, etc.) or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in the fields of hydraulic, control and control technology is of great advantage for this job. Ideally, you bring a very good overall understanding for turbines and turbomachines. Proactive sales work, communication skills and a solution-oriented way of working. Embossed customer and result orientation as well as safe occurrence in intercultural environments will help you. You have good SAP and MS Office skills. Their knowledge of German and English is very good in word and writing. The willingness to international travel (about 20%) is a prerequisite.
