For our department of urban renewal we are looking for the location Dresden (or optionally Glauchau) as of 1st. October 2026 a long-term reinforcement in the context of a retirement succession:

Geograph / city planner / space planner / architect / administration specialist / real estate specialist / sociologist or similar. Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time applications (from 30 hours/week)

Self-responsible guidance and organisation of urban development support measures Solution-oriented consulting of municipal administrations for urban renewal and for funding Financial management in urban development programmes with federal or EU funding Coordination and coordination with clients, specialist planners and authorities Creating reports and documenting project progress Advise private owners, among other things to support building modernization Participation in committee meetings, meetings and participation formats Developing innovative ideas and sustainable approaches in the project team Participation in urban development concepts and the accounting of funding projects in interdisciplinary teams

Studies with technical reference to urban development, e.g. geography, urban planning, spatial planning, architecture, participation, public management, real estate management, sociology or a comparable qualification Professional experience in project management, ideally in urban or municipal context Embossed skills in self- and customer control, time and resource planning and entrepreneurial thinking Teamability and a reliable, structured and independent way of working Communication strength and joy to present results Interest, interdisciplinary and practical work Standby for field service and driving licence Class B Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (safe for negotiation)
