The Volksbildungswerk Klarenthal e.V. is a free carrier of educational, cultural and social district work in Wiesbaden-Klarenthal and in adjacent districts. In conjunction with the VHS and the other VBWs, the VBWK performs the municipal duty of continuing education under the Hessian Continuing Education Act and on the basis of the strategic objectives decided. In addition, the VBWK (before the background of social-spatial structures and developments) fulfils tasks of cultural and social district/municipal work for the target groups children, adolescents, parents and families, adults and elderly people. In order to implement the ''Wiesbadener participation standards for districts with high social requirements'', we are looking for a dedicated and experienced specialist in the area of social work/social education or comparable qualifications for the district of Klarenthal. The aim of the body is to build, coordinate and develop needs-oriented social-spatial offers for older people in the district, and to promote participation, neighbourhood and voluntary commitment. The site combines social-spatial networking, community work, engagement promotion and the organisation of the senior meeting with innovative and culturally sensitive offers. The job is limited to 3 years. However, permanent employment is sought.

In your role, you build a city-part-related working group, moderate it and coordinate the important actors: in order to create close networking in and beyond the district. You use your expertise to analyze, tune and develop existing offers for older people while building transparent information structures both analogue and digitally Through your commitment, you contribute to public relations and make offers visible in the district by developing culture-sensitive and low-swelling offering formats With your organizational talent, you support events to promote neighbourhood and participation, win and co-ordinarily committed people and promote neighboring support networks You accompany and organize visiting and accompanying services, support the provision and use of spaces for engagement, and encourage older people to actively participate in their district The co-organization of the Senior Meeting is one of your tasks as well as the development of cross-target social-cultural offers and the promotion of digital participation of older people Your participation is also in the organization of a culturally sensitive lunch table offering, always taking care of all participants
