This makes the position
For the establishment and operation of a new psychiatric short-term station in the central hospital of the Hamburg judicial process, we are looking for dedicated care professionals (possibly with FWB psychiatry) with interest in psychiatric care and forensic contexts. In close cooperation with the Department of Justice and Consumer Protection, the Institute for Sexual Research, Sexual Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry of the University Hospital of Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) is headed by a new station with 11 to 14 treatment sites, which closes a decisive supply gap.

About station
The psychiatric short-term station is aimed at imprisoned people,
- who suffer from acute and subacute mental disorders,
- whose disease does not require external full-stationary treatment,
- in which diagnostics or medication adaptation is necessary,
- which after outpatient treatment are not sufficiently stable for the completion of the rule, or
- waiting for an external psychiatric hospital.
