The Business Development Manager West (d/f/m) is responsible for establishing professional relationships with key customer accounts and achieving the assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and margins.

This position is part of the EMEA sales team and will be located remotely in Germany. Customers in the western part of Germany and some key customers in certain markets are assigned to this position. A readiness to travel for this position is therefore absolutely necessary. Development of innovative business strategies for generating market shares and competitive advantages and creating new values for existing and potential customers in the food and beverage sector Conception and implementation of an A/B customer plan to fulfill sales forecasts. Building and maintaining long-term, productive relationships with leading managers and decision-makers of customers Individual expansion of the customer base by networking as well as tracking and implementing leads. Active promotion of sales of new products and applications Close cooperation with sales management and other relevant departments such as customer service, application technology and technical support to ensure the successful sale of products and plant technology Take full responsibility for the associated customers as external service employees and take targeted measures against competition activities

Bachelor or Master– preferably in food science, food technology or other related areas such as engineering or biopharma proven experience in an engineering environment with food-related applications, complemented by a solid affinity for sales Extensive experience in strategic sales as well as excellent skills in understanding customer needs and purchasing behavior Customer support in the development of innovative applications in the field of filtration Very good knowledge of German and English It would be advantageous if you also have experience in the following areas: Food and beverage industry Understanding Filtration Products Experience in the proactive new customer acquisition
