design and optimization of rubber-metal components for rail vehicles and industrial applications Implementation and evaluation of nonlinear FEM analyses with the Hexagon ONE software package including interpretation of results and life forecasts Ensuring component strength by creating and evaluating evidence according to the FKM Directive close cooperation with product development for the efficient implementation of technical solutions technical and disciplinary leadership of the FEM Group and coordination of international teams Responsibility for the management and prioritization of projects, resources, capacities and external calculation partners including expert evaluation of results Further development of the FEM Group at professional, organisational and personnel level with a view to future requirements
successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical qualification multiannual professional experience in the design of rubber-metal components, ideally in the rail vehicle environment well-founded practical experience in performing nonlinear FEM calculations, preferably with hexagon ONE or comparable tools Knowledge of the strength assessment according to the FKM directive is desirable Experience in evaluating the life and operational strength of components of advantage good knowledge of English in word and writing for cooperation in international teams
