Senior System Engineer with Focus RACF - zOS Mainframe (m/w/d) from now on and in full time preferred in Bonn or Berlin, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations. The ITOM 2 Application department provides the hardware/software infrastructure for the operation of the central applications of the Bundeswehr at the data center locations in Bonn and Strausberg. It is responsible for the design of the mainframe infrastructure, provision, maintenance, operation and second-level support of the operating system z/OS including the security, database, automation, monitoring and production and application-controlling software used on this operating system platform.

Ensuring the operation of the z/OS systems

Conception and Planning of z/OS Mainframe and Security Solutions

Implementation, testing and use of software configuration changes

Development and updating of implementation and operating standards

Consultation and support in questions regarding the use of z/OS systems

Takeover of Second Level Support

Successfully completed studies with IT reference or comparable training At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned field of work after graduation (after training at least 5 years

Very good knowledge of Mainframe architecture, RACF environment and REXX and JCL

routine in handling in certificate management zOS

Expressed analytical competence, readiness to learn and awareness of responsibility addressee-friendly communication skills and a high team capability Willingness to carry out missions and readiness to call
