Embedded Security Engineer (m/w/d)

The future of the car takes place in the interior. We develop the software for this! As a joint venture of CARIAD SE and Elektrobit Automotive GmbH, we develop highly complex solutions for communication in and out of the car. For our customers from the VW Group, we design frameworks, applications and graphical user interfaces and bring them together with modules of our global partner network. As an embedded security engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d), our team at the Ingolstadt site supports the security of our software solutions at the highest level. In a dedicated, interdisciplinary team, you actively shape the security architecture of our applications and are a central interface to our development departments and external partners.

We live our personal team culture and develop new ideas together in the office in Ingolstadt. In addition, you will be able to work in part on a mobile basis within Germany.

You are responsible for developing and securing C/C++ applications on embedded Linux systems You work closely with internal and external partners and advise them on security requirements and architecture You take the vulnerability analysis and security audits (e.g. CS-ASPICE) for our connectivity products The analysis and evaluation of CVEs, patch and vulnerability management for FOSS components also falls within your responsibility You create and care for security documentation and reports In addition, you take over the development and automation of security tests

You bring very good knowledge of C/C++ and embedded Linux development You have experience in testing automation with Python and Bash You have well-founded practical experience in vulnerability analysis, vulnerability management and Secure Coding AES-GCM, TLS, PKI, HSM, TEE and Secure Boot are not foreign words for you You bring motivation, communication strength, team skills and enforcement skills to work Your good knowledge of German and English in the international environment
