You develop FPGA firmware for highly integrated system-on-chip designs and design high-speed interface solutions for connecting transceiver modules to FPGAs or systems on chip, e.g. by JESD204B or serial LVDS. The connection of external peripherals – from concept to implementation to commissioning and testing in the laboratory – is also one of your tasks. For this purpose, you integrate RTL components from other team members into the overall design, e.g. specific IP cores or algorithms. Simulate and test the overall design in the team; You are also required with regard to software. As an internal contact person (m/w/d), you support the creation of schematics with respect to the connection of the FPGA as well as corresponding peripheral modules.

A completed master's degree (or doctoral degree) in the field of electrical engineering, communications technology or technological computer science is the ideal precondition for this position. You have well-founded professional experience in the development of FPGA firmware and FPGA architectures as well as knowledge in the field of digital signal processing. At best, you also have experience in using high-speed interfaces in FPGAs, such as JESD204B or serial LVDS. You can convince us by your proven transition with various tools such as GNU / Linux, GNU development tool, AMD Vivado / Vitis, Siemens Questa, C/C++ or VHDL.
