The Hostelsverein Winsen (Luhe) and Umgebung e.V. uses a multi-professional team for people in special situations of life. Our goal is to offer an extensive, low-swelling and sustainable offer for homeless people, mentally ill and addicted people as well as for specific target groups such as e.g. to create and offer young people, women or refugees. In street social work, you are traveling where people spend their daily lives. You work in the public space, build contacts and relationships, and develop access to support and further assistance with people. At the same time you have a view of the social space as a whole and work closely with our team of outpatient homeless help as well as other actors: in Buchholz. Your tasks include: Visiting social work and regular presence at relevant meeting points and places of stay in the Buchholz area Building professional, sustainable and reliable working relationships with people who are not or are difficult to achieve by existing aid systems Low-swelling advice and support directly in the human environment Perception of individual support needs and joint development of realistic next steps Support for life assurance, performance claims, public affairs, housing security and health connection Activation, motivation and mediation in further consulting, support and assistance offers Crisis perception, stabilization and situational action in acute problems awareness and communication between different groups of persons in public space with the aim of promoting mutual understanding and respectful cooperation Perception of conflicts of use in public space and development of solutions together with the involved persons and actors: Close cooperation and professional exchange with the team of outpatient homeless help Cooperation with city, offices and authorities, medical services, consultancy offices and other network partners: Case-related documentation and participation in reporting Participation in the technical and conceptual development of road social work in Buchholz

Your professional framework Complete study of social work, social education, special education, pedagogy or a comparable qualification Interest in low-swelling, looking and life-world-oriented social work Technical security or readiness to be incorporated into relevant social-legal principles, in particular SGB II, SGB III, SGB VIII, SGB IX and SGB XII Basic knowledge of mental illness, addiction diseases and complex social problems are advantageous driving licence class B Security in handling digital documentation and common office applications Your personal framework You encounter people in different situations of life open, facing and accepting. You like to move in the social space and you can adjust to different people, situations and dynamics. You can create closeness without losing professional boundaries. In public space you meet different interests and perspectives. You can perceive, mediate and address conflicts without losing sight of the interests and lives of our target group.
