The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. We accompany around 9,300 students in more than 70 courses on their educational path. The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering (FAB) is a central institution of THWS. For more than 50 years, we have been preparing young people for their professional and responsible future in the construction sector – with a lot of practicality, willingness to use and a strong sense of sustainable development. Setting is permanent and full-time (40 hours/week). If all necessary conditions exist, there is the possibility of beaming. The place is in principle part-time, provided that the full implementation of the tasks is ensured by job sharing.

Care, organisation and administration of the faculty's IT activities System administration, maintenance and further development of the existing IT infrastructure of the faculty and monitoring the efficient and secure integration of the systems into the THWS High School Network installation, configuration and commissioning of hardware and software as well as carrying out maintenance, service and support operations on site at the workplaces and in the faculty's technical areas; the activity takes place both at the screen workstation and within the scope of the operational operations and includes regular standing activities and paths within the faculty Development, maintenance and optimization of databases and their integration into various applications Advising the teaching staff in the procurement, installation and commissioning of hardware and software, including the central IT department and taking into account the high-level IT guidelines and IT standards Examination of the technical feasibility of new information technology objectives and specifications of the faculty management Development of concepts for implementing the IT-specific faculty strategy and their implementation and configuration
