For the EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG at the Hamburg site, we are looking for a tax consultant (m/w/d) sales tax for the financial and accounting sector at the next possible time.

Your tasks

• Competent and timely creation of sales tax pre-registrations, summary reports and sales tax returns.
• Active:r Contact person:in other business areas for sales tax-related topics.
• Technical support for sales tax issues in the context of projects, in particular in the context of the digitization of the declaration, the implementation of modern software solutions and the integration of a tax engine for automated revenue tax determination.
• Creation, maintenance and updating of company-internal policies and process documentation to make sales tax processes transparent and comprehensible.
• Active participation in the construction and continuous development of tax compliance management processes.
• Support for sales tax and audits.
• implementation of reporting activities in the area of payment-effective taxes and the performance assessment of the tax department, including analysis of relevant key figures.

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed economic studies or have completed a relevant tax training.
• You have already gained first professional experience in the tax department of a group company or a larger tax consultancy company focusing on sales taxes.
• You are familiar with MS Office and have relevant knowledge in SAP as well as in the Global Tax Center and Tax Engine products.
• You master the German language (C2) and have good English skills (B2) in word and writing.
• Through a practical way of working and good analytical thinking, you are able to advance topics.
• You have a high level of team skills and social competence.
• Target strength, conscientious and independent working, flexibility and communication strength complete your profile.
