The SOS Children's Village Sachsen-Anhalt offers a very differentiated range of assistance in the stationary and outpatient areas for children, young people and families in the Salzlandkreis. As an area manager at the SOS Children's Village Sachsen-Anhalt, you take over the educational, economic and human responsibility for the stationary offers and make their technical and strategic development significant. You act in accordance with the basic values and objectives of the SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., use the support by our internal specialist service and actively participate in our network system. You take over the leadership of a dedicated team and promote your employees through regular feedback, training and individual development talks. You are responsible for the technical quality and organisational structures in your area and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards. You control, coordinate and control the educational, human and financial goals and processes including budget planning and budget responsibility. You actively advise and support help and education planning. You ensure the further development and implementation of quality standards as well as educational concepts and regularly evaluate their effectiveness. You develop, implement and monitor the protection concepts within the facility. You train and sensitize the team on issues of child protection – in particular for the recognition, professional assessment and reporting of child welfare threats according to legal requirements. In close cooperation with youth offices, free institutions, specialist departments and the specialist public, you actively contribute to ensuring the protection and well-being of children and young people in your responsibility. You further develop pedagogical concepts and ensure their contemporary orientation and implementation. You initiate and accompany projects, control change processes and play a leading role in crisis situations. You organize and moderate team meetings as well as specialist days, create space for professional exchange and further development. You work cooperatively with the installation management and the further area management on the strategic and operational development of the facility. In addition, you are actively involved in the conceptual and structural design of the entire SOS Children's Village.

You have a completed university degree in social education, pedagogy or a comparable course of study and ideally bring (first) leadership experience.
