• Whenever design and development of Red Hat Enterprise Linux clients and the associated management platform Red Hat Satellite are in demand, you are in place. In consultations with our customers, you analyze challenges and meet specific requirements.
• Together with customers and colleagues, you develop tailor-made solution strategies based on our existing services, infrastructure and customer-specific security concepts.
• You take the implementation yourself: in projects focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite and creating and maintaining scripts (Bash, Python) and Ansible Playbooks for automating recurring tasks.
• Whether on-premise or cloud: you keep new technologies and updates in mind, so that our customers can always rely on your sound Linux know-how.
• In addition, you support the solutions developed by us based on state-of-the-art Linux technologies.

Your skills? More than interesting:

• Completed training as a specialist:in for system integration or a study of computer science, business informatics, computer science or a related IT specialist
• Multiannual professional experience in design, engineering and administration of Linux systems, ideally also in the environment of High Performance Graphics Workstations; Experience as a system engineer or architect (e.g. with RHEL 9/10, Red Hat Satellite, Kubernetes, VMware, Ansible, Git)
• Knowledge of central services (e.g. NFSv4, Samba, AutoFS, CIFS, GPFS, LDAP, PKI) and ideally certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE or RHCA
• Experience in the analysis of performance problems (client, server & storage) and know-how in the field of container and cloud technologies
