ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.

Your duties They take over the planning, preparation, execution and documentation of tasks in film processing, gluing, kitting, laminating and optical bonding with materials such as glass, thin glass and plastics

They monitor the material stock for ongoing projects and maintain the existing infrastructure (tools, equipment, plants)

You control the upcoming maintenance and maintenance of the systems

They support team-wide development and work on the development of manufacturing processes for micro-optical assemblies and systems together with interdisciplinary teams such as project management, optics design, construction

They test and optimize production concepts to be able to pass them as a process basis to the series development

Complete vocational training or studies with a technical focus

Insufficient experience and expertise in gluing, cementing and coating as well as laminating films for multilayer optical functional elements

Routinized in creating work regulations and work documentation as well as safe handling of optical measuring and testing equipment
