Type of employment: Limited Working time: Full time Place of work: Renningen At the Bosch Research Campus in Renningen you have the opportunity to actively shape the development of new Bosch products (e.g. in the field of fuel cell, e-mobility, medical technology, etc.). You work in a dedicated international data engineering team on a newly developed data platform in Microsoft Azure for the processing and visualization of measurement data and you develop applications on this platform. Your tasks include the further development of the data platform with the relevant Azure Services as well as the creation of pipelines for measurement data processing and visualization. Data platform development: Working with a newly developed Microsoft Azure data platform for big data applications. · Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Deployment of Services (Bicep, possibly Terraform). · Automation (CI/CD) of the infrastructure with GitHub Actions. · Extension of the monitoring application for platforms and applications. · Ensuring platform security. Application development: Development of applications on the data platform for processing data from different Bosch prototypes. · Conception and implementation of data models in the Lakehouse architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Vault etc.). · Construction of integration data pipelines for data ingest from different sources (Azure Data Factory). · Programming of processing and aggregation algorithms (ETL) on Azure Databricks (PySpark). · Automation of ETL algorithms (Azure Data Factory, Databricks Jobs/DLT). · Creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations (PowerBI, possibly Tableau and Grafana).

Education: Above-average Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, natural sciences or a comparable study with concrete plans to start a Master's degree. Personality and working methods: self-initiative, committed, independent and reliable. Experiences and know-how: programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.), first experiences with cloud computing platforms and ML, especially on Microsoft Azure and Databricks, as well as basic knowledge of measurement and automation technology are desired. Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English.
