With more than 350 employees, we develop intelligent solutions for the optimization of products, services, processes and structures for our supporters and customers from the economy, as well as for the development of new digital business models. Intelligent systems are already able to perform many tasks quickly and reliably. In order to promote the responsible use of AI, AI systems must be trustworthy and function reliably. Our current research focuses on the operationalisation of the European AI regulation. In addition to the legal requirements and verifiable technical standards and standards, new tools and methods are needed to also technically check the trustworthiness of AI systems. We serve as an interface between scientific research and sub-user practice. In the "AI Assurance and Assessment" department, we dedicate ourselves to state-of-the-art research in the fields of AI governance, AI quality assurance and its practical application in order to examine the conformity of AI systems, such as regulatory requirements. We are looking for a student assistant in the field of AI governance at the next possible time.

What you do with us

• Be at the forefront of the topic "KI-Governance" by taking on research activities on regulatory requirements (in particular AI-VO), standards (e.g. ISO, DIN) and guidelines (e.g. EU Commission AI Office Guidelines) and supported in design
• You research and start presentations
• You support content in preparing and performing events and in creating reports

What you bring

• (Master) Student* in Law, Politics, Economics or Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or an adjacent area with very good academic performance
• A basic understanding of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence (programming skills are not required)
• Ideal knowledge of the European AI regulation
• Very good knowledge of Office software
• Very good German knowledge of word and writing and good English knowledge
• Structured and independent operation
