You take over the complete execution of radiological incorporation measurements, evaluate the measurement signals, calculate the body activities and maintain all measurement parameters and results in a structured manner. In direct contact with test subjects, you will provide a comprehensible instruction, position the test subjects and detectors and control the measurement sequence. For quality assurance, you regularly carry out functional testing of the measuring apparatus, determine and control efficiency as well as zero effect and anticipate energy calibrations of the measuring systems. As an accredited procedure, check the accuracy of the results based on DIN EN ISO 11929 as well as the dose calculation according to the “Guide for Physical Radiation Control to Determine the Body Dosage at Internal Exposure”. Furthermore, you carry out measurements in the context of ring trials to maintain accreditation. With your technical know-how, you will help to further develop the measurement methods and systems, plan and implement measurement series for verification and validation and derive optimization proposals for practice.

Complete technical training, e.g. as a physics laboratory, physics-technical assistant, medical-technical/radiology assistant, or comparable qualification with experience in radioactivity measurement using gamma aspectrometry. Professional experience in radiation protection monitoring as well as reliable, sound measurement knowledge for spectrometric investigations. Good skills in accompanying data processing as well as knowledge in quality management, ideally in the context of measuring laboratories or radiation protection. Impressed quality awareness, systematic and responsible work, high concentration, team orientation and clear, address-oriented communication. German knowledge on C2 level, good English skills and a safe handling of MS Office applications.
