In this position, you enter ship engines and turbochargers in international use, work closely with customers and shipyards and ensure reliable operation of maritime drive systems. In doing so, you will bring well-founded knowledge in the areas of service, maintenance, fault analysis and technical support

Maintenance, commissioning and service operations at four-stroke diesel engines on ships are carried out in the worldwide field of external services (performance range 1000 to 16,000 kW)

The overhaul and repair of turbochargers from Napier, KBB and ABB in our workshop are part of your task as well as the creation of the associated documentation and subsequent installation at the customer's premises.

For technical questions, you support and advise ship crews and operators competently directly on board

In addition, you will oversee repair work carried out by local shipyards and workshops and ensure their professional execution

THE WHICH WE UNS You have completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronic, electronics engineer for system and automation technology, electronics engineer for measurement and control technology or a comparable qualification

Ideally, you could already gain experience in ship engines or engine services

With very good German knowledge (at least C1) as well as good English knowledge in word and writing (at least B1) you can safely move in an international environment
