Technical trade fair planning (central point DKM)Full technical planning of the DKM measuring areas: CAD plans, stand building coordination, hall plans Ordering and managing all electricity/technology connections via the OSC of Messe Dortmund (LAN, kW connections, cable channels) Primary contact for the exhibitor service of Messe Dortmund Coordination of all bbg construction sites (message, catering stations, congresses and speakers Corner) commissioning and monitoring of exhibition walls, banner mounting, brochure stands and special equipment Administration of container storage, waste disposal and special storage areas Delivery management: Time windows and parking permits for trade fair builders (LKW, vehicles) DKM-Folgeplanung: Hall planning, ATB votes, assignment list, Regulatory Updates

Team management function: Technical and, where appropriate, disciplinary leadership of the staff of the planning department Priority and distribution of tasks and projects Perspective capacity planning and prevention of structural overload Ensuring complete project management, documentation and representation Regular evaluation of project stands, dates, budgets and risks Clear escalation of deviations with solution proposal and recommendation Development of uniform standards for project management, meetings and handovers Guidance of feedback and development talks

Services & ProcurementComparation, negotiation and commissioning of technical service providers (measuring, cleaning, security) commissioning and performance/cost control of technical service providers (order volume according to approval rule of the line) Decision on alternative providers to standard trade fair services (e.g. standard cleaning, security) Selection and coordination of hostesses (promotion agencies) Security & AuthoritiesCommunication: Security concepts, fire safety guard, approvals City Dortmund Rescue Path Concept, Risk Assessment and Safety at the Fair Quality, cost control & refurbishmentQuality assurance of technical events DKM reworking: complaints, audit of the trade fair service providers Cost control and audit in the field of trade fair infrastructure Status Reporting on Technical Exhibition Planning (Termines, Costs, Risks) to the Project/Department Management

Education Studies Interior architecture, architecture, civil engineering, event management or comparable CAD knowledge required Experience Experience in trade fair construction or in event engineering Knowledge of tendering and commissioning processes Experience with large trade fairs (> 500 exhibitors) desirable Expertise CAD software (AutoCAD o. ä.) Standards and safety concepts for trade fairs (DGUV, BSW) Basic knowledge of electrical engineering (kW calculations) Basic contract law (for commissioning), audit of accounts/cost control Soft skills Technical understanding Negotiating skills with service providers Structured work with checklists High loadability in the build-up phase Special features Forceful presence on site in Dortmund during construction/DKM/destruction (approx. 2.5 weeks/year) Overtime readiness at the fair time
