Number: MER0003P5L In the Mercedes-Benz Cars development we design the cars of the future. We create innovative products with the highest quality and with the most efficient development processes. We are already working on the vehicles which Mercedes-Benz will secure technology leadership in the future. The Center ''RD/EP - Digital Powertrain, Prototyping & Testing' is responsible for the drive development and the powertrain test range. This includes the entire product range of our drive systems, conventional and electric drive technologies. The ''RD/EPDT – Digitization, Data & Tools'' department is responsible for digitization projects, especially in the field of testing and system optimization. The team 'Coordination Big Data Drives'' supports all data-driven Use Cases for the drive system development at Mercedes-Benz. This includes all the steps from idea discovery to professional implementation, from data sources to cloud processes to data analytics and artificial intelligence. These challenges include: Operational data strategy

Creation of a data map for drive development

Support Information collection and communication

Supporting the documentation of data in internal tools

Promoting internal marketing and awareness for data strategy through posts and articles in the internal employee portal

logging of dates

Ideas (and if possible implementation) to improve the communication model of the data strategy

Support for user management for our use cases and ideas generation for process improvement and automation

• if necessary. Data evaluations with Python and KQL language

The mandatory practice can begin from 01.09.2025.

Course in Media Informatics, Business Informatics, Media Management or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Designed strategic and analytical skills and passion for new technologies

Interest in data topics

Experience with Microsoft and visualization tools

Basic knowledge of agile methods

Optional - Azure Microsoft Cloud Experience (Cloud Understanding)

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working
