Legal Counsel Commercial Contracts & AI (m/f/d)

You want to work at the interface of law, technology and artificial intelligence? In our international legal team, you actively shape modern contract solutions for digital business models and innovative technology projects. You examine, design and negotiate customer, service, framework, software, SaaS, cloud, license, partnership and technology-related contracts in German and English

You advise internal stakeholders on commercial contracts, IT law, digital business models and legal risks

You process contractual and legal enquiries autonomously, set priorities and escalate complex issues targeted

You support the development of standards, templates, playbooks and practical guidelines

You participate in legal technology and AI-based processes and accompany the testing of new tools and applications

You work closely with international colleagues from Legal, Business, Technology, Compliance and Risk

In this role you report to the Regional Head of Legal and cooperate with the Client Contracting Centre of Expertise. The position is now to be filled in full time at our locations Berlin, Frankfurt am Main or Hamburg.

You have successfully completed legal studies with second state exams

You have collected at least two years of professional experience in contract law, business law, commercial contracting or IT law

You have first experience with software, SaaS, cloud, license or technology-related contracts

You are interested in Legal Tech, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovations and want to actively shape modern working methods

You work independently, structured and pragmatically and develop economically viable solutions

You communicate safely in German and English; French knowledge and first contact points with data protection, cyber security, intellectual property or digital regulation are advantageous
