The unit is located in the Department of Finance - Budget and Tax. The department is responsible for all issues of economic planning, commercial accounting, third-party management and central purchasing. The budget and taxes subject to financial planning and management of budget and special funds and the processing of all tax matters

Processing of tax matters of the university Creation of tax returns Tax audit of contracts, in particular third-party contracts and sponsorship Implementation of new regulations in the course of §2b UStG Tax advice (internal) from various areas of the university Special tasks such as project cooperation in departmental working groups, tax compliance management system

Graduate in tax, commercial, legal or administrative fields a comparable qualification (e.g. Bachelor Professional, specialist with relevant professional experience) Professional experience in tax law (probably in the field of university or non-profit taxation) Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, in particular turnover tax and corporation tax law Secure handling of MS Excel as well as sound knowledge in ERP systems (ideally HIS MBS) or the willingness to work quickly into high school systems Impressed service awareness, strong team skills and a high level of communication and consulting competence Joy of independent activity in the team Careful, independent and structured working and analytical thinking English knowledge of advantage
