As a technical manager for trading integration, you define the architectural direction that guarantees technical excellence and advances innovation. You guide the integration area to the development of best practices. As a member of the middleware leadership team, you are primarily responsible for the following tasks: Technical Strategy & Architecture for Middleware

• Define the technical vision and architecture for the middleware platform and make sure that it matches the business and IT strategy.
• Etabliere best practices for API design, messaging, event-controlled architecture and integration patterns.
• Ensure that the platform is highly scalable, safe and fault-tolerant to meet the requirements of energy trading.
• Guide the introduction of cloud-native and DevOps approaches to optimize Middleware performance and delivery efficiency.

Platform engineering & development management

• Guide the engineering teams to implement high-quality middleware solutions and provide practical technical guidance if necessary.
• Define and set encoding standards, security policies and best practices.
• Ensure that Observability, Monitoring and Alerting are integrated into the platform to enable proactive problem solutions.
• Guide the evaluation and introduction of new technologies to ensure continuous development of the platform.

Cooperation & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with the Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical implementation.
• Exchange with developers, architects and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration across IT landscapes.
• Use for best practices in the middleware sector and school teams in modern integration approaches.

Governance & continuous improvement

• Define and monitor important technical KPIs, including performance, availability and security metrics.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and operational resilience requirements.

• Perform continuous improvement initiatives and promote automation, standardization and self-service functions.

• Proven experience as technical manager, middleware architect or senior integration engineer.

• Deep expertise in middleware technologies, including APIs, event streaming and messaging (Kafka, MQ, AMQP) and event-controlled architectures.

• Funded understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Experience in guiding technical strategies and architectures for powerful, business-critical systems.

• Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. terraform).

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to influence technical directions and best practices.

• Very good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English.

• Cooperative attitude and good moderation skills.

• Enthusiasm to lead, train and train internal and external employees.
