Beer garden manager (m/w/d) full-time, part-time, temporary / seasonal contract

Our restaurant with idyllic beer garden is located directly on the longest promenade in Germany – a place with unique charm and direct views of the Ammersee. We pamper our guests with Bavarian delicacies and fresh fish specialities from local waters. The focus is on regionality, seasonality and highest quality – each dish is prepared with love and selected ingredients from the region. Our hotel has 43 comfortable rooms and is a home all year round for business travelers, meeting guests, travel groups and recreational visitors.

In the warm months we extend our range of 200 hosted places as well as 600 self-service places in the beer garden – ideal for enjoying, days or celebrations. And all this in a unique location: right at the Ammerseeufer, with a free view of the Alpine panorama – closer to the water does not go. Herrsching, located at the foot of the Andechs monastery, is only about 30 kilometres west of Munich and is easily reachable in about 30 minutes by the direct S-Bahn connection.

Operational area: Friendly, service-oriented and rapid care of our guests in the outdoor area – even with high guest accommodation

Competent contact person for questions, wishes and concerns of our guests on site

Active support in the self-service beer garden: cash flow, food and beverage delivery and handling of deposit returns

Self-employed and meticulous implementation of the cash bill at the end of the working day

Introduction, support and training of new colleagues for a successful start in the team

Close cooperation with the kitchen team and support in smooth service

Back Office & Organization: Creation and maintenance of the weekly schedules for the beer garden team – including holiday and downtime planning

Responsible contact person for the team in the daily workflow

Monitoring and optimization of all service processes in the beer garden sector

Ensuring and monitoring compliance with all applicable hygiene standards (HACCP)

Responsibility for goods ordering, goods receipt control and warehouse care

Participation in quality assurance and continuous improvement of our processes

Leadership and the ability to guide colleagues with clarity, heart and overview

Very good German knowledge in word for secure communication with guests and the team
