(Senior) Legal Counsel IT- / Vergaberecht (m/f/d)

You are a full lawyer with relevant professional experience in IT and procurement law and are looking for an in-house role with high visibility, design space and proximity to strategic decisions? We are looking for an independent personality with humour and humanity, which strengthens our corporate law department as a legal business partner for complex IT projects, public tenders and economic issues. You report directly to General Counsel and actively shape the legal future of our group of companies. In doing so, you act as a central contact person for senior management and departments of the Group companies, tax legal risks pragmatically and translate complex legal requirements into resilient, business-oriented solutions. Your tasks are diverse, challenging and close to the operating business: IT Contract Law: You independently audit, design and negotiate national and international contracts in German and English, in particular on IT infrastructure, cloud services (SaaS, PaaS), licensing models and project-related performance relationships Procurement law: You test public tenders, accompany complex procurement procedures from a legal point of view, and advise the specialist departments in IT-related projects across the group Risk Management: You identify legal risks at an early stage, evaluate them in the economic context and develop sustainable solutions for the Group together with the departments Strategic advice: You advise on complex issues of digitalization and give pragmatic recommendations for action Legal Monitoring: You follow up current legislative changes and case law (in particular in the tech environment) and derive necessary measures for the Group Process optimization: You support the implementation of new policies and processes to make our legal operations more efficient

Education: You are a full lawyer and brings the ability to prepare complex legal issues precisely, addressable and decision-oriented Experience: You have professional experience in an economic law firm or a legal department, ideally focusing on procurement law, IT law and contract law as well as experience in complex projects with multiple stakeholders Expertise: You have a deep understanding of technical and business relationships and can translate legal risks into commercially viable recommendations for action Mindset: You have a high affinity for digitalization topics, learn quickly and work in new fields such as AI administration Working methods: You give understandable, pragmatic advice, represent positions sovereign to internal and external stakeholders and work independently, reliable and solution-oriented Languages: You bring knowledge of German and English with you Soft Skills: You are a value-oriented team player who convinces others and communicates clearly, bindingly and solution-oriented in challenging situations, as well as brings a healthy pinch of humor.
