It is a maximum provider that offers comprehensive medical care with around 650 beds and modernly equipped specialist departments and centres. The services include, inter alia, internal medicine, surgery, female medicine and birth aid with a modern perinatal center Level II. The clinic serves as a central provider for the region of East Westphalia-Lippe, guarantees a 24/7 emergency care and is a teaching hospital in the association of a university hospital. Medical care and guidance of childcare, including risk pregnancies and high risk births Self-responsible diagnosis, counselling and treatment of patients throughout the spectrum of birth aid and female medicine Care of pregnant women with maternal, fetal and placental risk constellations Implementation and supervision of prenatal diagnostic studies (depending on qualification and certification) Interdisciplinary cooperation with neonatology, anesthesia, paediatrics, human genetics and other disciplines in perinatal medicine Participation in and participation in perinatological case conferences, quality circles and morbidity and mortality conferences Upper medical organization of the courtroom including professional guidance of the medical and non-medical team Implementation and supervision of surgical interventions in the field of childbirth and gynecology Training, guidance and supervision of assistant physicians and students
