Development, design and professional design of complex mechanical components for scientific experiments Compilation of technical project documentation in compliance with the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular in terms of safety requirements (e.g. support for experiment managers by preparing risk assessment) Mechanical, structural and thermal design of the modules and components, including FEM calculations with the software SolidWorks Simulation and COMSOL Multiphysics Close cooperation with the technical infrastructure and scientists at the institute

Graduated higher education in mechanical engineering Good knowledge in handling a 3D-CAD design software, preferably SolidWorks Experience in handling FEM calculations, preferably SolidWorks Simulation Experience in special machine construction, knowledge of materials and user-related computer skills are desirable Designed team skills and communication skills They work independently, solution-oriented and with great care and reliability and have a pronounced service orientation Good knowledge of German and English
