In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we shape the automotive generations of tomorrow. We stand for innovative products of the highest quality and efficient development processes. The ''e-Drive Validation' department is responsible for the series release of the drive train and its secondary components in all electric vehicles of Mercedes-Benz AG. For this we operate vehicles on test stands and on test sites. Our team manages and maintains a vehicle pool for the development and acceptance of the software. During operation, measurement data are obtained, which must be evaluated and evaluated. The operation on test sites also requires detailed planning and comprehensive preparatory and post-processing activities. As a working student*in, you actively support us in the following practical areas: Vehicle management & preparation: General vehicle maintenance and preparation of vehicles for testing and testing Flashing of control units and installation of measurement technology Management and output of the test material

Test implementation & data analysis: implementation of short tests and evaluation of measurement results Maintenance of databases and Excel tables for documentation

Test drive planning & control: support in detailed experimental planning, including participation in necessary bodies Maintenance of the planning tool and support in preparation for testing Working with the further development of the planning tool for experimental planning

The activity can begin from March 2026.

You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree course in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle engineering or a comparable degree course (also economic engineering with technical focus) Safe handling of MS Office applications is of course for you - previous knowledge or strong interest in evaluating measurement data, the flashing of control units are of advantage Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Basic knowledge of the project management and knowledge of the vehicle development process are desirable Class B driving licence Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
