The area has currently 12 beds with focus on respiratory and weaning medicine as well as internalist intensive care and 30 beds of pneumological normal station.

• Introduction, implementation and monitoring of non-invasive ventilation including mask selection in acute and chronic respiratory insufficiency • Adjustment and monitoring of invasive respiration depending on the disease, control of analgesia according to protocol • Implementation and monitoring of the occupancy (further) according to the protocol • atemphysiologically rehabilitative measures • Case and transfer management of patients with chronic-respiratory insufficiency in outpatient care • Training of nurses • Breathing therapy for the entire clinic in all areas
